Founder & Artistic Director
Annie Ward
Annie Ward is the founder and Artistic Director of The Complete Theatre Company. She wrote, directed and produced an Off-Broadway Sketch show that ran from 2006 to 2009. Annie performs in comedy clubs around the city both as a comic and improviser. She works as a voice over artist and is featured every month on both national and regional radio stations. Annie was produced by The Directors Company to stage her drama entitled “The Last Stop.” She has been commissioned by Turkish playwright Yakup Almelek four times to adapt his plays. In addition, Annie was hired by the deputy prime minister of Azerbaijan to rewrite his satire “Shakespeare in Space.” Her writing ranges from sketch comedy to film to poetry. Annie has directed and produced over sixty shows in New York City.
